Shield Innovations concentrates on energy technology and especially on applications of renewable energies.Our strong technical capability in electrical technology gives qualitative advantage in development, manufacturing, as well as in final products.

Product development

Own product development contributes to the stability of our activity. During the first years we have concentrated on solar energy (heat), and wind power. Our own patented inventions and manufacturing processes give us considerable strength on the market. We are independent and flexible and can get things done the best possible way.

Partnership

Although we can work independently, we do not hesitate to co-operate with various institutes, universities and research labs. This allows access to state-of-the-art research tools and the latest know-how.

Future

Renewable energy came into widespread interest already in the 70's and the 80's but the real boom has begun only since the early 90's. In 1991, 150 000 square meters of solar collectors have been installed in Germany, which is same as the number of all installations in the country by that time. This year alone, roughly 1 000 000 square meters of solar collectors have been installed in Europe and the official (EU) estimate is an annual increase of 25 percent in wind and solar energy applications.

Mission
